February?....Already????

How is it February? I just got used to writing January 2009 on all of my stuff! Not to mention things are "CRAZY" at the Quilt Buddy Household! However, I did manage to complete 3 projects for the month of January! Unfortunately, I didn't win the drawing for the One-A-Month Challenge , but I am proud of what I completed.

Here is another first! I completed my Designer Mystery BOM in the same month that it was sent to me. Woohoo! This month's block is called "Star Party" and it was designed by Bonnie Olaveson of Cotton Way. TaaDah.....here it is:

Of course I took the opportunity to add to my little "Improv" quilt. Here is what it looked like before:
Then I took these:

And I made this:

I still don't know what I am going to do with it, but I will figure it out later. Don't you just love this fabric...Peace on Earth by 3 Sisters for MODA!

I have almost completed my version of my "secret" swap project. I will share the photos once the original one is in the hands of its new owner!

Until Next....Happy Quilting!!

(and Happy Groundhog's Day!)

Love those fabrics . . . . the little dots in the star center are just perfect. They make the star 'sparkle' *s*
