Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all of my Blog Buddies!

Let me aplogize for my blog "hiatus"! Things have been busy and the days have just slipped by me! It wasn't until the other day that I realized that it had been so long since my last post! I know that I have let some of you down, like RED and Carla! So I promise that as soon as my little "goblin" is done with his Halloween party and trick-or treating, I will update all of you. I have so much to share, like my Stitchers' Angel, my completed projects, my baking, and my special trip with Mrs. Nook !

So until then, please enjoy these fall scenes from my house to your house!

Aren't these Cinderella Pumpkins too cute?

From me to you....Happy Halloween!

Project Update #2

Project Update #2:
I have just completed the Fat Quarter Shop Designer Mystery BOM #4. This one is called "Double Treats" and it was designed by Bunny Hill Designs.
This one is too cute and all of my points match up! LOL! Luckily I finished this one because the next block should be in the mail any day now! Just a little bit behind...can you tell?
Until Next Time.....Happy Quilting!
BTW Tomorrow is the BIG reveal of my Stitchers' Angel! You are going to love this one!

The Wait Is Almost Over!

I just received a message from my Stichers' Angel that another package has been "heaven sent!" I am so excited because the wait is almost over and her identity will soon be revealed to me (and you of course)!

Hurry Mr. Postman! Hurry!

Until Next Time....Happy Quilting!

BTW....I heard that she had a little helper her who gave her "extra eyes" to what over me! Any ideas Mrs. Nook ? You are a sneaky one, don't you think RED ?

Just a "Little Sass"

As you know, I won a jelly roll of Moda's Cotton Blossom from Camille's giveaway. As soon as I got it, I put it on my bookcase so that I could admire it. It looked so "at home" with all of the other Moda fabrics in my stash, that I had a hard time convincing myself to "cut it up!"

The bottom photo is showing the other Moda fabrics that I have chosen for the applique. All of them are favorites from my stash!

Well I finally took the plunge and started working on the pattern that I also won. So here is the progress on my "Sassafras" quilt. (The title fits me don't you think RED? It would also be perfect for YOU!)

(That is a little bit of my Butterfly Garden quilt peeking out at the side! Sorry that some of the blocks are hanging crooked on my design wall!)

So far this is a fun pattern and I love the colors in the Cotton Blossom fabric line! Soon I will have all of the blocks completed, so check back for more "Sass"!

Until Next Time....Happy Quilting!
