Do You See The Problem?

Time is just flying by! How is it already August 6th? This is where my problems begin.
  1. I need to decide on my Girls' Club Project for August.
  2. I need to make a wedding gift for my BFF who has moved up her wedding date! They have decided to get married before her fiance deploys again to Iraq. The problem is that the new wedding date is August 13, 2009!
3. What do I make for her in a short amount of time? She is very traditional and doesn't like bold colors. Well that just eliminates half of my fabric stash! Do you see the problem?

So after digging around, here is what I am going to use.

The colors in this fabric line will match everything in her house. Of course, I will thrown in a couple of fabrics that will match MY house just to be on the safe side!

So here is my August Charming Girls' Quilt Club project: a wedding quilt for my BFF that is traditional in nature but suits my style.
I am not sure what I am going to do, but check back soon (before the 13th) to see how it turns out.
Until Next Time....Happy Quilting!

I can't wait to see what you do with those very traditional sqaures that ends up a bit more modern. Good luck getting it all done in time!

I can't wait to see what you come up with. I am sure it will be great. I am trying to decide on some design patterns myself for two quilts, both for myself :)

Well, both goals sound like a good plan of attack. You will think of something wonderful to make...it will come to you in your sleep, for sure. I think the colors are wonderful and certainly inspiring. Happy sewing!!
