Let's keep it real today.
The other day I posted my Something New.
However,
I feel guilty because I have Something Old
that I should be working on right now!
Yes...that is my stack of 50 flowers
for my "Old Grandmother's Flower Garden" quilt!
Hmmm...I think I started it in 2008!
(Just keeping it real!)
I love my Old project,
but,
I LOVE my new project!
Here is the old project with the new project in the back
(closest to where I always sit at my worktable)!
Someday I will revist my Old Project!
On another note:
If you want a REALLY good cry to put things into perspective,
visit here and bring the tissues!
Now I am off the pick up the Little Person up from school
and I think that we will get ice cream at the local ice cream shop!
Just Because!
Until Next Time...Happy Quilting

I hear ya - I have chosen a new hexagon project in favor of an older one . . . . I know I will finish them both - someday *s*
I have been choked up - the good kind - the memory kind - the kind of memory that only a parent can cherish.
Thank you, Stephanie.
YOU have touched my heart - with this You Tube video...
Why, you ask, am I so deeply choked up? Because you had me "remembering" our daughter who passed away many years ago at the tender age of 12.
Simply - thank you.
I love those flowers...I would be all over them. I have never made a quilt like that...I may have too...Melinda
I love the flowers!
I also love 'just because...' moments!
Hey...they do look good in your lovely little pile... a cute decoration..;o)
Oh No.. you just have to make somethng of the little beauties..;o)
Lovely pile of flowers you've got there!
Someday I plan on starting one of my own:-)
Very pretty...look forward to seeing what becomes of them!
Hey little one....I love your old project but I'm sure I'll love your new one too.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video with me. It is so flippin true and perhaps is exactly what I needed. My 20 year old is off to college and my 16 year old argumentative as bedroom door closes....
I always say it all goes so darned quickly....I hope you shared that ice cream.
These look great...old or not! They're a lot of work, Stef.
I still need to do my hexagon block for Christina's quilt a long. The technique looks scary to me so I keep putting it off. I am sure once I try it I will laugh about it :)Are they easy or difficult to make?
