As you know, I was able to have a "mini summer vacation" with my Blogger Buddies, Mrs. Sweet Liberty and Mrs. Quilt Nook. (I call it "mini" because it was too short!) Cara has been my "partner in crime" for about 5 years (gosh how time flies). Jennifer was my Stitcher's Angel in the Stitcher's Angel Swap hosted by Helen. I have never met Jennifer in person, which made this trip REALLY special to me!
Here is a photo of the Blogger Buddies hanging out in Annapolis:
What did we do? Just the usual blogger/quilt/girl talk, quilt shop hopping, eating, and the basic trouble making.
Did I mention the best part, the "gifties"? Jennifer made this cute fabric cuff out my favorite fabric line. She has a link for the tutorial here .
Cara made me this awesome pin cushion to sit on my cutting table. She knows that I have a small collection of pin cushions.
A small amount of time was devoted to quilting. Here is what I did: 3 hexagon flowers
and I started another project, which has been sitting in my pile since last November.
I really didn't need to start ANOTHER project! Who knows how long it will be before you see this completed project.
Check back tomorrow because I am going to post pictures of the "gifties" that I made for them and my charming friend, Kelly!
Until Next Time....Happy Quilting!

Wow...how much fun...and Jennifer was your Stitcher's Angel as well! I've met a couple of quilt bloggers, and it's been a lot of fun to meet!
What fun! I've met some quilt bloggers and it is always so much fun!
Fun, fun, fun! That's so neat that you guys got to get together in person. And, more lovely projects on the way. Love your fabric choices, and can't wait to see them!
what is your plan for the hexagon flowers?
