For Christmas, Mrs. Nook and I decided to do our own Christmas ornament swap. The rules were simple: make 5 ornaments and send it to each other with our Christmas gifts. Simple right? We didn't discuss anything specific, except....make them scrappy!
Do you see the similarities? We both made:
- bird ornaments
- stockings
- star (which was the same pattern)
See what happens when great minds think alike and we didn't even plan it that way! We had so much fun making these that we are going to do it again next year.
I hope that you enjoyed our ornaments. Maybe it will inspire you to make some next year because Christmas is only 348 days away! Its never too early to plan ahead!
Until Next Time.....Happy Quilting!

What a fun exchange! All of them are darling!
Hi Stefanie!! Of course I remember meeting you!! You were such a sweet and bright spark I don't think I could ever forget!!! How cool is that with the ornaments!? That is exactly what Rosie and I would do, we always get the same things for each other without realising! It is great because it shows how in-tune you are with each other! Hope you have a great week =]
